Remixing sites & the Showcase

Every site on DevDojo is real, exportable code — and with the owner's say-so, it can also be a starting point for someone else.

#Allow remixing

Open a site's settings page and turn on Allow remixing. From then on:

• Visitors to your published site see a small Remix this site pill in the corner. It opens a full-screen preview with a Remix button.
• Remix copies the site's files into the visitor's own account as a new draft. They get their own copy to edit; your site is never touched.
• DevDojo may feature your site in the Showcase.

Remixing only works while the site is published — a draft is yours alone. Turn the toggle off at any time to stop new remixes. (App Mode sites can't be remixed: their workspace lives outside the file tree a copy would carry.)

#The Showcase

The Showcase is a hand-picked gallery of sites built on DevDojo. Open any of them in a live preview and remix it straight into your account — it's the same flow as using a template, from the in-app Templates page or the public gallery.

What's listed is a frozen copy that DevDojo owns, taken at the moment the site was featured. That's what keeps the gallery honest in both directions: your live site stays yours to change however you like, and the copy people see and remix never drifts with it. If you improve your site, DevDojo can re-sync the featured copy on request.

#Premium vs Quick

/compare puts a Premium build and a Quick build of the same brief side by side, live — the quickest way to see what art direction adds. Both sides can be previewed, and remixed when the owner has allowed it.
