Wave - Does it work for me

Hi all :) I would like to describe what I need and would be happy if you can answer me if this is possible with wave. After a user decides for a plan he has access to his own CRUD (something like a admin dashboard) application. Only he can CRUD his data. This user can create new users for his 'ogranisation'. These new user can then also update the data. The main user is something like admin. Not every user can create new users, only the main one.

Thank you very much!

Hi there,

What you've described would not work out of the box with the Voyager Admin, unless you build the custom dashboard where the main users for each org can do some actions based on their plan.

If you want to use the Voyager admin for this, it will not be a good fit as it does not have the concept of teams.

For your use-case, it sounds like running a separate Wave instance for each organization will work out of the box, but having multiple organizations under one Voyager admin does not sound like it would work out of the box.

Wave is free and open-source, I would advise you to just install it and play around with it to see if it matches your needs.

To learn more about Voyager, you can watch the free videos here:

Hope that this helps.

Hi Bobby, Thank you very much for your fast and detailed answer. I would have liked to use wave for my small project because you are such amazing team. Maybe wave will change in the future and teams will be possible.

Hey!

What I could suggest is opening an issue on the Voyager GitHub repository here requesting teams as a feature:
