Tails - Nova Integration

Hello Bobby

I'm interest in using tails as a TailwindCss Template Editor in system. My backend is Laravel Nova.

I'm thinking something like having a custom field in which could load tails web interface. With this field, the customer could create/modify a landing page. Once saved, I would like to be able to get the code and saved in my system database. With this the customer won't have export and upload the code.

Would be possible for me to accomplish this? Any suggestions?

Hey there!

As of the moment, there is no way to embed the Tails builder into your app itself, you can currently use the Tails API to embed pages that you've built with Tails directly into your Laravel app using this package here:

Tails Laravel Package

However the builder itself, can only be accessed directly via the DevDojo website only.

Let me know if this works for you!

Thank you Bobby for your response. After much thinking, I do really want to move away from come visiting the site to build a page.

I have other options, but since devdojo is way more affordable [for a freelancer], I wanted to ask here first. Let me know if Tony is willing to work something out. Maybe a pilot project?

Thank you once again.

Hey Horacio,

I may strongly consider building a Laravel specific package that integrates the editor directly in your application when we release our new SaaS Starter Kit, Foundation. More info here: https://twitter.com/tnylea/status/1597751935284936704

I can't make any promises, but we'll take it into strong consideration. The one problem that I foresee is that when the Source Code is available (code that we use internally), developers will try and find ways to exploit any vulnerabilities, we've built it really well, but you'll see that even Wordpress struggles with this on a daily basis.

Anyway, for now you'll have to visit the site and perhaps we can see about building a separate package for the builder when we release Foundation.

Would you mind letting me know what alternatives (options) you are considering over using Taiils, just want to know so that way we can better understand users of our product :)

Thanks again and I hope you understand.

Talk to you soon.
