You probably have heard of github. Every single programmer has visited github more than once. However, being one of the most popular code hosting platform for version control and collaboration, managing github becomes complicated, like, managing old repositories, updating them, working on new repositories, reading reviews, etc. Be it a new coder, or a popular guy, everyone has faced problems in managing their repositories.

But what if I said, to all your problems there's one absolute solution.

Third-party Client

Before I dive in deep, first we need to know some disadvantages of third part client:-

1. Before downloading any third part client, make sure to check out on the software or developers, and don't use any shady softwares.
2. Anything that happens to your account due to third party client, github or any other software isn't responsible.
3. That brings us to the final disadvantage, USE THIRD PARTY CLIENT AT YOUR OWN RISK.

Luckily for us, our third party client is completely open-sourced made by Patrik Svensson. Ghostly is a Github notification client, that organizes notification in a systematic way, with an eye pleasing, and simple UI. Among other advantages, one of the major advantage is that, it can work when internet isn't available.

We'll go over the advantages of Ghostly quickly:

1. You can organize your repositories by categorizing and filtering. This help in proper management of repositories, making your work faster, efficient, and better.
2. Ghostly can be used offline which almost every single facility working. It synchronizes the notification, when you are online after which you can use ghostly offline normally.
3. Even when you have organized your notifications, it maybe difficult to find, fortunately for us Ghostly's query language has got our backs covered. Searching has never been so easy before.
4. With simplistic design, eye pleasing UIs, and themes, using Ghostly is actually a mood changer. By default, ghostly shall use windows theme, but you can change that in your settings menu. (Please don't use Light Theme)
5. You can download Ghostly safely from windows store without thinking of malwares or virus getting in your computer. Please note: There's no official support of Ghostly for Linux, and Mac OS. It's primarily available for windows. However , there's nothing to be sad of yet. If you can't get Ghostly, then build one !

But then can we trust Ghostly ?

The Answer is Yes. Developed by Patrik Svensson, ghostly is one of the most well known and received third party client, with an active support for bugs and issues. Besides that Patrik Svensson, has received Github Star, Microsoft MVP, writes blogs, creator of Cake and Spectre Console.
