Translations table key length too long

I'm trying to install Wave, and I've modified the default string length in AppServiceProvider, but it seems the unique key in the translations table "translations_table_name_column_name_foreign_key_locale_unique" is too long and still generates a 42000.

to get past this issue just upgrade your mysql so you do not get this issue. if your on shared hosting contact you hosting provider.
