I swear I saw a premium version of Chatter.
I thought I saw a premium version of chatter that you could buy, but now I can't find it for the life of me. I would love to use chatter, but I need things like a mod lounge, user reports, and moderation privilidges all together. I've been stubbing out a forum myself and am now just looking for something to buy and alter.

There actually is not a premium version of Chatter; however, we do have a lot of really good plans for some future releases in the next couple months. You may have seen a different open source project. There is one particular forum software called Flarum, http://flarum.org/ which is pretty full featured.
The only downside I can see to Flarum is that it may be a little difficult integrating it into your Laravel application.
