Hello.

I'm trying to make a breadcrumb navigation in the product page and I would like to know how to display the category of the product.

I put the Home and product name but don't know how to display category.

Thanks.

@mark @devdojo could this be easy to achieve?

The only "easy" way is to overwrite the view and then overwrite the breadcrumb view for the product view. However this requires this pullrequest is merged and released first and then you will have to update the Voyager package in your Geekshop application.

Thanks @mark

I thought it was something little like {{ $category->name }} but it seems to be kinda hard for me to do at the moment. I hope Tony implements it in future versions of Geekshop.

Thanks!

It would more likely be something like $product->category->name.

When you are setting up a store, normally you’d select the third option, products and categories/subcategories. This implies that visitors can either select products right from the home page or refine their search by clicking through to a product category archive DGCustomerFirst
