how hard is it to build tails ?
hi everyone my name is dean , im a newbie web dev ( was graphic designer ) in fact my journey only start when covid hit back then 2020. i discovered tony and dev dojo through reddit post and amused by it. my favourite one is tails , my question is i wanna build something exactly like tails but in my own language in terms of developing that where should i start ? or even where to began ? im considering to buy the devdojo pro with something like tails a drag and drop website builder and my skillset as graphic designer i am hoping i can create a various blocks with illustration pack and more ! thansk for reading this and i hope you all doing well !
Hi there,
In order to build something like Tails I would say that you would need to have a vast understanding of valina JavaScript and a specific JavaScript framework like Vue or Alpine.js along with a solid understanding of HTML and CSS mainly.
I could suggest starting with this course here which covers HTML + CSS + JS + PHP.
As another suggestion, if you mainly have experience as a designer, you could build only the static components without building a copy of Tails and sell the components separately.
