Help with downloading the script.
How come when I try to download ninja media sharing script I am just left with a spinning circle? I have Devdojo pro and trying to build a website using that script. Any help would be appreciated!
The download seems to not be working correctly, you can grab the download URL and paste that directly into your browser and download it that way.
Just make sure you are logged in otherwise it won't work.
Can you please give me a link to where I can get some installation videos or documents?
I have been trying to follow this: https://github.com/thedevdojo/ninjamediascript
- Got all of my files uploaded to the rootfolder
- type in mywebsite/install.php but get a 404.
I did just upload everything and godaddy is pretty slow so maybe I will see in the morning what happens after everything clears.
But if that is not the right method please help.
Update: I found the correct one here: https://devdojo.com/script/ninja-media-script/documentation
Now, it says run composer install inside the root directory of your app.
I only have two composer files in the zipped Ninja Media script which are:
- composer.lock
- composer.json
What could my next steps be? I'm using godaddy btw
Hi there,
Once you've extracted the files you need to access the directory and run:
composer install
The install command will read the composer.lock
file and install the necessary packages.
Let me know how it goes!
On another note, the download button should now be fixed! Thanks for reporting it and thanks to Thinkverse for suggesting the workaround in the meantime!
It is not going to well lol I never liked installation processes because I'm used to wordpress (sorry)
Okay so I'm running Godaddy:
- I've uploaded everything using the file manager in the CPANEL
- How do I "access the directory and run" composer install if I don't see that file among the files extracted to the file manager?
- I think when I go to my website (shillking.com) it's not showing the index file. Does this come with an index file or do I have to make one?
Hi,
The composer install
command needs to be run via your terminal. So you need to connect via SSH to your cPanel server and then run the command in that directory.
If you wish you can provide me with SSH access to your cPanel account and I will install this for you. You can send the details over a private message.
attempting to message you bobby but it's not showing the full page when I get to the page. Do you have an email I can send those credentials to?
Ah thank you for reporting that bug, you can try to refresh the page and it should load as expected.
Alternatively, you could send it to [email protected]
