Docs Down? Wave Billing Errors
Hey!
I've fixed the issue with the Wave docs yesterday! Thanks for reporting this.
Regarding the Paddle API, what you could do in the meantime is to reach out to the Paddle support team and ask them to switch your account from the new Paddle Billing to the Paddle Classic. That way you will be able to use the current implementation.
We are also working on upgrading Wave to use the new API in the meantime.
Let me know how it goes!
Best,
Bobby

Hi I also can't access the docs and today is the 21st :)
Also have a problem with billing as i subscribed before creating an account, and so i seem to have an orphan subscription lingering. Is there any way to fix that? Paddle receipt # 58642474-99998220

Hey,
I've just fixed the Paddle issue for you! Sorry for any inconvenience caused here.
It looks like there was a DDoS attack on the Wave demo site which caused the docs to not be available. This should be mitigated now and the site should be up and running.
Let me know if anything else pops up.
Best,
Bobby

The Support answers: It is recommended to go with Paddle Billing, as Paddle Billing has exclusive new features. Paddle will also mainly focus on developing Paddle Billing moving forward, and there is limited resources assigned to Paddle Classic. Most importantly, Paddle would need all vendors to be on Paddle Billing eventually.
I'll wait for the Updates. Thanks a lot for the Answers!
Any updates?
Hi all!
I've made some progress with the refactor for the new Paddle billing API:
https://github.com/thedevdojo/wave/pull/100
This still needs refinement, but if anyone wants to give it a try and share any feedback that will be very helpful!

Hey!
Wave v.2.3.0
has been released with support for Paddle Billing!
This update mainly focuses on the support for new users of Wave and Paddle so they can leverage the new Paddle Billing system. For those currently using Paddle Classic, you can feel free to continue using Laravel Wave v2.2.0
