Best practice for sending transactional emails from Wave v3 — Mailgun, Resend, or something else?
Setting up a new Wave v3 project and trying to decide on a transactional email provider. I've seen Mailgun mentioned in older docs but curious what the community is actually using in 2026 especially for deliverability on things like password resets, billing receipts, and welcome emails. Anyone running Resend or Postmark with Wave? Any gotchas with the default notification setup?
I'd probably choose Resend for a new project unless there's a specific reason to go with Mailgun. The API is straightforward, the documentation is excellent, and getting transactional emails working takes very little effort. Mailgun is still great, especially for high-volume sending, but Resend feels much nicer to work with day to day.
@ishan-maity have you tried SMTPfast?
It is Resend API compatible, has the same UX but is also half the price.
