Alpine & Pines with Tails?
Hi there,
You can copy the elements from Pines and then via the code editor in Tails add them to the section that you wish.
There is no drag and drop integration between Tails and Pines, but the elements from Pines can be copied and used within Tails.
Thank you for that feedback :) I'll bring that up internally.
We don't currently have any plans for implementing this, but yea, as of the time being, the method I suggested earlier would be the most feasible workaround.
@bobbyiliev
So, I copied this one https://devdojo.com/pines/docs/navigation-menu and pasted in the Tails app.
But, there is no layers/DOM panel that I can select the elements. There is no word wrap option in the code editor.
When I try to select the dropdown mega menu included with the above element, it just disappears.
I can't seem to grasp, maybe. Any help would be much appreciated.
Hi there,
Currently there are no plans for making Pines and Tails drag and drop compatible.
Pains is meant to be used as a stand alone library for all types of projects and not only tied to Tails. But you can still use elements from Pines into Tails.
Here is an example with the menu that you've shared:
Yes, I figured that out, but why there is no dom tree that we can look where the sections are? Why there is no word wrap option available? Current drag and drop system is very confusing for me. I really got use to Bricks Builder and Bootstrap Studio, and was expecting the same editor.
Thanks for bringing those up! I'll forward your feedback internally!
Hey Orhan,
Sorry, I've missed the previous comment.
Yes, there are no plans to incorporate Pines directly in Tails. For the editor, can you clarify what exactly is missing in the current one? You can open up the code editor and change any of the values as needed.
Yes, a screen recording will be helpful. I am afraid that it's not really clear that you mean exactly based on your previous messages :)
