Hi Awesome community!

Would love to know if we can add our own blocks to tailwind dojo tail builders..

Also if we can incorporate some animations with our desired library and choose props from builder..

Thanks in advance!

Hey there!

Good question! Yep, this is doable.

What you can do is to add a blank component and then click on the code editor and add your own element.

Here is a quick gif with an example that I've got from TailwindUI:

tails-import-tailwindui

Let me know if you have any questions!

Thanks Bobby!

My question is about how can we add a custom block on the left sidebar? I should build dynamic templates with {variables} and the faster way I see is to add them as a project and later clone it and modify.

Is there a way to "save privately" custom blocks for reusing in other parts/projects?

Also would like to know if there is a roadmap for the product.

That would make me wanna get a lifetime license!

Thanks in advance

Hi there,

As of the time begin there is no way to add custom components in the left sidebar. But this is a good idea, I will add it to our backlog!

As of the time being, you could save your components directly in a Tails project, or Git for example, and then reference them from there.

Regarding the roadmap, are there any other features besides the above that you would love to see? Any feedback is highly appreciated.

Best,

Bobby
