Creating Beautiful Thumbnail Images

I am often asked how I create the thumbnail images for my post, so in this screencast I wanted to show my process for creating beautiful thumbnail images.

The process is fairly simple; however, it requires a little playing around. Find a good font, add an icon, add a nice background, and possibly a nice gradient.
