  1. Rev. 2.14

    Sep 22, 2026

    New

    04 Endorsement

Endorsements for drivers, not only vehicles

Until now Bevel keyed vehicle and location changes. This release adds driver changes on commercial auto: adding a driver, removing one, and correcting a license number. The request is read from the insured’s email, the motor vehicle record is ordered where the carrier requires one, and the change is keyed to the portal once.

    • A driver under 23, or one with a violation in the last 36 months, is held in Needs review with the record attached.
    • The carrier’s confirmation is filed to the policy and the insured gets a one-line reply.
    • Live for Heartland Assurance, Ozark Casualty and Wabash Fidelity. Like every operation, it starts in review mode.
  2. Rev. 2.13

    Sep 8, 2026

    Improved

    03 COI request

Holder names are matched against what the holder calls itself

About one certificate request in eleven names the holder loosely: “the City,” “Lindquist,” “the GC on the Ankeny job.” Bevel now resolves those against holders already on the account and the sender’s own signature before it decides it has never seen the holder.

In the two weeks before release, this would have cleared 212 of the 631 certificates that were held for a holder mismatch. A holder that still cannot be matched waits for a person, as before.

  3. Rev. 2.12

    Carrier

    Carriers

Wabash Fidelity moves from the portal to the API

Quotes, renewals and endorsements for Wabash Fidelity now go through their agency API instead of a portal session. Median rating time dropped from 96 seconds to 44, and the weekly password rotation no longer applies.

Nothing changes on your side. Operations already live for Wabash Fidelity stayed live; the 25-approval count was not reset, because what is sent to the carrier is identical.

  4. Rev. 2.11

    Aug 11, 2026

    New

    Review mode

Named approvers, and a reason on every rejection

On Agency and Group plans you can now name who may approve each operation. A producer can approve quotes without being able to approve endorsements; a CSR in training can prepare runs that a senior CSR signs off.

    • Rejecting a run asks for a reason from a short list, or one line of your own.
    • Reasons show up in the audit log beside the run, and in a weekly summary to the principal.
    • One rejection still resets the count to zero. That has not changed and will not.
  5. Rev. 2.10

    Jul 28, 2026

    Fixed

    02 Renewal due

Renewals with a mid-term endorsement re-rate against the current schedule

If a vehicle or location was added mid-term, a renewal could be re-rated against the schedule as it stood at the last renewal. It affected 14 policies across 6 agencies, all of which were held by the 10% rule and none of which were sent.

The re-rate now reads the schedule as of the morning it runs. We re-ran the 14, and each agency has a note in its audit log saying so.

  6. Rev. 2.9

    Jul 14, 2026

    New

    05 Payment posted

A trust ledger for each office

Group plans can keep a separate trust ledger per office. A payment is matched to its policy, receipted, and posted to the ledger of the office that wrote the account, with a daily reconciliation line for each.

The export matches the columns most state trust-account audits ask for: date received, insured, policy, carrier, amount, date remitted.

  7. Rev. 2.8

    Jun 30, 2026

    Improved

    Audit log

The audit export answers a carrier review in one file

The export used to be a CSV of runs. It is now a PDF and a CSV together: every run in the period, what Bevel read, what it sent, who approved the operation and when, with held and rejected runs listed separately.

Pfeiffer & Ruhl used it for a carrier’s routine review in June and did not have to pull a single file by hand.

  8. Rev. 2.7

    Jun 16, 2026

    New

    AMS

    Rostrum connects by nightly export

Rostrum has no API, so Bevel reads the export it writes each night at 1:00 AM CT. Renewals and certificates are supported; quotes and endorsements need a same-day view of the policy and are not.

That makes four agency management systems: Agencybook, Fairlead AMS, Policydesk and Rostrum.
