Export your history with the key to check it
Exports now carry the key that signed them, so an auditor can check the history themselves without an account and without asking us.
Every check was already signed. What it was not was checkable by anyone else: verifying a record meant asking Axiom whether it was genuine, which is a strange thing to ask the company being audited.
Exports now come with the key that signed the range, plus a short script that takes the bundle and tells you whether it holds up.
Rotating the key
Keys change on request, or every twelve months, whichever comes first. An export that spans a change carries both keys and says which records each one covers.
An auditor should never have to trust the tool being audited. They should have to trust the maths.
