I’m a design engineer in Lisbon. For about a decade I’ve worked on the seam between those two words: design systems engineers actually reach for, interfaces that stay legible when the network doesn’t, and the unglamorous parts of a product that quietly decide whether anyone trusts it.
These days I’m principal engineer at Aperture, where most of my useful contributions have been arguments for deleting something. Before that, Foldwork and Marram.
