Built for the thinking, not just the typing
Dune reads what you give it, reasons out loud, and shows its work — in a conversation, in your draft, or in your code.
Reason. Ask the hard question and get a straight answer
Give Dune the memo, the spreadsheet, and the thing you are worried about. It reads all of it, says what it thinks, and tells you which numbers it leaned on.
Should we launch in three cities or one, given the runway?
One. Three cities triples your fixed costs before you have a repeatable playbook, and your runway covers eleven months at the current burn.
Pick the city where you already have the most waitlist signups, and set a number that would justify the second — say 400 weekly actives by month four.

Write. Edit with someone who has read the whole draft
Dune works inside the document, not beside it. It marks the sentence that is doing the wrong job, says why, and offers the line that does the right one.
Board memo — Q3 plan
Editing with Dune
We are asking for approval to hire two engineers this quarter. The hires bring the platform team to six, which is the smallest team that can ship the billing rewrite before the renewal season.
Lead with the outcome, not the ask: the renewal season is the reason the board will say yes.
Build. One call to the same models, from your own code
Everything Dune can do in a conversation, your product can do through the API — streamed, with the same reasoning and the same care about sources.

Response
The three risks are the auto-renewal clause in §4,
the uncapped liability in §9, and the 90-day
notice period for termination in §12.

It is the first tool that argues back. I bring it a plan and it finds the assumption I was hoping nobody would notice.

Frequently asked questions
Short answers on what Dune is, what it costs, and what happens to your data.
Still wondering? Write to us.What is Dune, and how does it work?
Dune is an AI thinking partner. You bring it a question, a document or a problem; it reads what you give it, reasons through it, and answers plainly, showing which sources it leaned on. It runs on the web, on the desktop, on your phone, and through an API.
What should I use it for?
The work where a second opinion helps: planning, writing and editing, reading long material, checking a line of reasoning, and building software. It is at its best when the question is hard and the stakes are real.
How much does it cost?
Free gets you Dune every day with a fair-use limit. Pro is $16 a month on the annual plan for ten times the usage, the desktop and editor apps, and the choice of model. Max starts at $90 a month for the heaviest use. Teams pay per seat.
What happens to my data?
Your conversations are yours. On Team and Enterprise plans nothing you write is used to train models, and you can delete a conversation at any time. Read the full privacy policy for the details.
Can I switch plans or cancel?
Yes. Move up or down at any time from your account page, and cancel with one click. Annual plans stay active until the end of the period you paid for.
