A real-time analytics dashboard for mid-market teams. Rebuilt the data pipeline to cut query latency by 73% and redesigned the interface around a single principle: show the number that matters first.

A minimalist note-taking app for field researchers. Offline-first sync, gesture-driven navigation, and a typography system tuned for outdoor readability. 4,000+ downloads in the first quarter.
Coral Design System
An open-source component library built for speed and accessibility. 48 components, WCAG 2.2 AA compliant, with token-based theming adopted by five product teams internally.
Tidewatch API
A rate-limiting and API gateway service handling 8M+ requests daily. Designed the queueing architecture and wrote the SDKs in three languages. Acquired by a fintech in 2023.
A bit about me
I'm Shegun — a software engineer and designer based in Lagos. I care about the small details that make software feel considered: the timing of a transition, the wording of an error, the weight of a typeface.
Over the past six years I've shipped products used by tens of thousands of people, led engineering teams, and built design systems from scratch. I work best at the seam between engineering and design — where technical decisions meet human experience.
