I suspect I am having the same problem. In the .env file I have changed the APP_DEBUG=true so that I can see the specific error rather than a generic 500 error. If you change APP_DEBUG=true you will get a more specific error.

Seems like it would be easier to release this fix than fill the forums with people having the same problem and andrewo0 having to diligently (thanks!) notify everybody of the manual fix. Wave unfortunately went beyond it's intended purpose, it's more of a stripped down DevDojo than a SaaS Starter Package. I would love a much simpler (more limited) more bullet-proof solution. Frankly, I don't care about the money, I want my two days back as this package is not nearly ready for prime-time.

Same issue here myself. If a project is open source, one would expect these kinds of issues to creep in. If you are charging for code via a subscription fee, bugs like this should be eliminated as soon as it hits a support forum.
